I have tattoos. Didn't get any till I was 38 so nothing I regret. I want a few more. I am covering some scars and the pain is kinda therapeutic.

In response to your question : for me, it kind of depends on the tattoo.

There's a place down in Alabama called ESSEE knives. Their company logo is an outline of a bullet any (check it out). I would really like to get that tattooed on my right hand or forearm.

Not keen on seeing them and if they are really obvious and I can't avoid looking at them, I have to look harder, beyond them, to see the real person hiding behind them. I often wonder what it must be like to be ancient with wrinkled skin with a tat that was originally inked onto the youthful skin of a beautiful young person.

I like certain tattoos if they are well done and not overdone. Around here there are lots of amateur tats and they look terrible. On the other end of that spectrum, there was a waitress in Florida who had a colorful tropical scene on her shoulder that was amazing.

That woman put her Hashtag in the middle of the photo so on one would steal her work even though it's not her work it's AI generated.

You look great either way but I hope you do not go with permanent ones.
