Do Americans realise that Josh Brolin is one of their national treasures?

I'm a fan for sure. Not American, obviously, but I love a whole range of his movies.

Is he? I'd say Willem Defoe, and Tom Hanks qualify, Robert De Niro and Andy Garcia, Josh Brolin though, I don't see him in quite the same category
