Can someone please explain to me why moms are stricter than dad's?

Many parents decide that one of them will be bit stricter and the other will be lenient. They decide it to maintain a balance and to handle different situations with flexible options, in order to give their children a best upbringing they can manage to.

In some cases when a dad is not ready to take the stricter role, the moms has to take the responsibility apart from their love & care for her children. Hats off to such mothers.

Women have to put so many more resources into producing a child — they have to gestate the child for 9 months in their own bodies, and then they are generally stuck with a vast majority of the task of raising the child. Men, in contrast, could father a hundred kids a week or more.

So, it makes sense that women are more protective of their children.

Cause dads just wana have fun.

It varies house by house. Sometimes the dad can be more strict

My Dad was much more strict tham my Mom.

Mom's do most of the child rearing.

Usually the mom is home a lot more then the dad is. So she has to be stricter

It’s never been like that. Growing up, it was always my dad who was giving everybody buttweapons. Literally, all of my friends and elementary school was afraid of their dad too. I remember being 10 and talking to my friends about it at the lunch table., and plus not to mention in my little family that I created it’s my boyfriend who the kids listen to more because they take him serious since he’s a man. don’t get me wrong, The kids listen to me, but they listen to him more and I see it and I see why.

I have no idea man all ik is that it sucks

Probably wants the son to become strong.

Because men usually aren't thinking of their child's well-being and future.

I was scared of pissing my dad off but at the same time I was willing to fight back and my mom always defended me cause sometimes he’d go a little too hard lol
