Yeah what do they know? Annoying 😳😬 you do you, it’s not their concern
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
It kind of makes you wonder how these people raise their own children. I'm pretty sure your co-worker gets annoyed when someone gives him or her advice about being a parent. Seriously, your co-workers needs to focus on their lives instead of meddling in other people's lives.

@Barefooter25 no one likes her it's why she works from home now. But I did talk to my boss about it. He was not happy at all
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
@Cigarguy I saw an episode of King of The Hill and Hank Hill said something about the workplace that makes total sense. These are co-workers. You see and work with them at the office for 40 hours a day/ 5 days a week. Whatever they do after hours or on the weekends is no one's concern. I think HR probably will have a talk with your nosy co-worker.

Tell them the same things, only make it about them.
You're not going to the office party? you really should be there.
You are too old to bring lunch, start eating in the cafeteria, or go out like a grown-up.
You are really wound up there; perhaps you should start drinking decaf.
You need to tell your spouse that they are too clingy.
You really should stop vaping.
You should do whatever the boss tells you; that's what a good employee would do.
Why are you eating so unhealthy? You really should eat healthier.
You really should stop talking so fast I can't understand a thing you are saying.
You , really suck up to the boss, don't you?
People think talking about kids like this is okay, but if you talked about them that way it would not go down very well.
She sounds like a know-it-all all/ busy body.

@Justmeraeagain I really would like to but I'll let my boss handle it
smiler2012 · 61-69
@Cigarguy 🤔so since when has your co worker become an expert in this field . it must be difficult enough without get ill wanted advice
Cigarguy · M
@smiler2012 it worse because she was listening to my conversation outside my office
One time at a company party the wife of my best friend made a comment about some friend of theirs kid that was special needs, scrunching up her nose. I lost all respect for her that day.
Cigarguy · M
@JamesBugman it's sad our kids have enough struggles in their life they don't need to be judged and bullied by adults who know nothing about their story

1. How you raise your kids is your business.
2. Does your kid need to be part of your work group?

People sure are quick to assume. Anyone that says anything like or close to your post is not fit nor worthy of a second of your time.
Cigarguy · M
@robbie2499 yeah just someday it gets to me or than others. I'm having a off week. Feeling very down and I don't know why.
robbie2499 · 61-69, F
@Cigarguy You do have a lot going on. Remember, the way you feel right now will not last forever. It's temporary.
Cigarguy · M
@robbie2499 thank you and I know it will pass. And I have our support group tonight and therapy tomorrow.

@bijouxbroussard she has no filter and was an only child. She just says what comes in her head. And she's loud too. I really didn't want the whole office knowing what kind of day our oldest had. I was just calling Joel because he keeps track of this because of his kidneys issues. I was in my office with the door shut on my own phone. But you can hear everything in our office when it's quiet
MayorOfCrushtown · M
making inappropriate comments about someones kid is a good way to get ya damn feelings hurt.
@Cigarguy When I was in management I would have fired her.
Cigarguy · M
@NativePortlander1970 our boss is way too nice

@Fertilization she works at home most of the time but was been in office this week. My oldest boy is here and I can't help but wonder if she would say some of those things to his face.

💯
My youngest niece had to be told every type of meat was chicken until she was about six or seven, or she wouldn't touch it.
@Cigarguy Addie is like that with beef, my older brother and sis in law over cook it so it's like shoe leather, the same with pork chops they're drier than the sahara and could pound in nails.
Cigarguy · M
@NativePortlander1970 that sounds hard to eat for anyone.
@Cigarguy You could use the individual meat fibers as toothpicks, my sister in law's baked chicken and rice is so tasteless, fruit stripe gum has it beat.
