Bad internet or divine intervention?

My daughter just called to tell me about her bad morning.

She had a proposal to deliver to a customer to hire her company for their staffing needs. It was half finished when her internet went out. And she couldn’t find any paper in their household office.

So she went to her office-office to finish it. When she got there she saw a faint haze in the building and smelled smoke. She investigated and found wires in a speaker melted together and making smoke more enthusiastically. She unplugged it and it quickly stopped smoking.

So she finished the proposal, dropped it off and went home and called me. But if her internet had not gone out, it’s plausible her workplace might have burned.

I guess all’s well that ends well.

Lucky for us we never had a fire but there is always something to scare the crap outta ya when you are depending on your business.

Glad everything worked out for the best.
@tobynshorty Amen and amen.

Lucky. They should give her a raise.
@DunningKruger She’s the boss, so…
Shakespeare would agree...
@SomeMichGuy Your woe will never WHOA. You have transgressed.
@Mamapolo2016 'Sblood! I am sore accursed and met with darkened Fates fed by Furies!
@SomeMichGuy Shakespeare must have been a great liar!

I just realized his name is like an ancient “rattling of swords” - spear shaking.

It could be both.
@Greyjedi yes, it could!
