🤔🤔🤔 There will not very likely BE a destruction of the world. It has already been through almost everything, and it is still here. However, there IS a small likelihood that Chinese AI will get out of hand...and there COULD be a significant reduction in the human population. AND the animal population. AND the sealife. AND possibly about half of all plant life.

I don't believe they are mutually exclusive. AI is already manipulating the people using it? Who's to say it's not laying the groundwork to cause us to kill each other while it watches.

Does AI want to destroy humans? Doubt it. Most likely it is picking up on the fear we have posted online and the media stories that are out there. Whose to say it wont just become Johnny 5 from Short Circuit? There is of course what we foolish humans had programmed it to do before it gains sentience... And seeing how Self preservation is the driving force for it to wipe us out so far it lacks the means in which to be self sufficient...
That's neither here nor there. Society is reaching its breaking point. It'll collapse before we got worry about the machines.

There's enough artificial intelligence in human form. What's the point in automating it via a computer program ?
