@Pretzel Good on you for acknowledging him.
MellyMel22 · F
Yes. The man who raised me I’ve always considered my father.
Jessmari · 46-50, T
He existed
exexec · 70-79, C

craig7 · 70-79, M

attyhenrytuason · 61-69, M
Dad was always strict but I understand him now!🤔
bijouxbroussard · F
Yes. He and our mother have been there for us all of our lives. My youngest sister and her daughter still live with him. Pop and I talk all the time.
Bleak · 36-40, F
Yes. I was blessed to grow up with my father by my side. If I could choose again, I’d choose him as my father every single time.
Allelse · 36-40, M
Far too often, the house was so much nicer when he was gone.
GoFish ·
yes he is still there even
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
Yes my biological father aka Dad was there till I moved out.
Ramon67 · 61-69, M
Yes and no . I did have my father at home but , he spent a lot of time with his mistress and their kids .
CountMonteCristo · 41-45, MVIP
Father was in and out due to his own issues. Though I had many surrogates. Shared a two family house with my Grandparents growing up. My Brother and Grandfather were huge inspirations. My 4 Uncles poured into me as well. All were shining examples of manhood I carry with me to this day.
DragonFruit · 70-79, M
Yes, my father was very present when I was growing up....and he was very present in my life until he passed away when I was 40. He's still frequently very much in my thoughts.
Magicianzini · M
@DragonFruit I'm sorry for your loss. It's great you had such a good dad though!
Well... he was an adult male, with XY chromosomes... though I wouldn't consider him a "father".
LeGrotesque · 41-45, F
He didn't live in my home but he was very present. I spent every other weekend with him, and he often visited during the week as well.
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
Yes. But he had heart problems and passed when I was ten. My mother never saw another man.
Jexie · 26-30, F
Yes, he's cool af but I'm not super close to him
Magicianzini · M
@Jexie That's perplexing. How could you not be close to a "cool af" dad? Something get in the way of that?
Jexie · 26-30, F
@Magicianzini Maybe my mother but I dunno, just personalities
WillieT · 61-69, M
Mine was around for 10 years, then took off to Sturgis and never made it back. Never did find out what happened to him.
Magicianzini · M
@WillieT Do you want to? Because there are ways to do that in 2026.
Sadly yes.
Selah ·
No, thank god. He was tormenting his other family.
Magicianzini · M
@Selah One of those ...
Sorceress · 22-25, F
Yes, but he was extremely mentally unwell
Boeing · 36-40
Yes he was there, I have a lot of memories of him and he was doing two jobs to keep everything running.
There's always the other side though, how he was doing everything to just not be home with us, how when he was home he was either exhausted, drunk, or both.

Only every so often when i was little but i'm glad he was gone. I think i turned out better for not having him around. He keeps trying to have a "relationship" with me now that he is ill, but i'm not really interested. i DID however have other older male humans who unofficially adopted me a few times.
valobasa4ever · F
No .
And I am totally okay with that.

I'm giving it my all to create something awesome with my life, just to make my mom and grandparents a little proud of me.
Thank you for kind words. 🙏 🤎

@valobasa4ever That's beautiful. I'm sure they'll be proud!
meggie · F
No, never met him.
Magicianzini · M
@meggie I would like to say "I'm sorry" , but I don't know how you feel about it. Thank you for the response either way and wish all things are good for you despite his absence.
meggie · F
@Magicianzini it waa hard at times, but I knew mum made a mistake resulting in me and it cost her losing her husband.
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
I mean barely but yes
Magicianzini · M
@HijabaDabbaDoo Barely? You mean he wasn't home much or?
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
@Magicianzini pretty much yeah
Magicianzini · M
@HijabaDabbaDoo I see, ok. Thank you for explaining.
BohoBabe · M
Definition of the word "Father": An adult male human with XY chromosomes
My dad never did a chromosome test, so IDK if he would count.
Part of it ...I use that loosely
He was " there" but not there at the same time
Then he got really sick and died when I was 15
