Plop out even more children whose birthdays I'm supposed to remember.

Give me a gift on my birthday
My Grandma, nowadays, is pressuring me to get married.

Honestly, I do not think I am ready for marriage yet.

Some days the pressure is too much.
rosesandsmiles · 51-55, F
@valobasa4ever That’s a lot of pressure to carry, especially when you’re not there yet.

There’s nothing wrong with not being ready. Marriage isn’t something you do to satisfy other people’s timelines.

Your life has to make sense to you first.
Keep trying to contact me...😑ewws.

@DancingStarGoddess Very ewww!
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
My extended family is almost all diehard fundamental Christian believers
rosesandsmiles · 51-55, F
@zonavar68 Ab I hear those words grouped together and I’m looking over my shoulder for my ex lol

Fight over cooking. This only involves my mom and sister, but still, it’s an annual ritual whenever they’re both cooking together for something like thanksgiving or Christmas. My family is Italian, so I suppose it’s a given whenever you have two Italian moms in the same kitchen, lol.
rosesandsmiles · 51-55, F
@Ducky I can imagine 😄
ironborn · 51-55, M
Nothing, my family is small and quite normal
Lugwho · 61-69, M
Leave cupboard doors open
Adrift · 61-69, F
@Lugwho My grandma and my uncle used to get into tiffs over this.
He would get something out of the cupboard with intentions to go back to grab something else and she would shut the cupboard in a huffy maner.
It was actually pretty funny.
Lugwho · 61-69, M
@Adrift Sounds familiar, but I'm your grandma.

Keep breathing.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@rosesandsmiles Don't worry, I'm an inheritance inconvenience and if my mother, sister and stepmother could have me whacked they would. What will happen when mum kicks the bucket is I'll get some tiny amount of money, so it'll make it harder for me to contest the will. Not that I plan to, they're all a bunch of crazy people, I plan to stay away from them all. But they're evil and so they assume everyone else is evil, it'd never occure to them that I want nothing to do with them or their money.

You see?
rosesandsmiles · 51-55, F
@Allelse Yea… that paints a pretty clear picture
Allelse · 36-40, M
@rosesandsmiles They were always going on about all kinds of different ways to hide money, like burying it in the backyard, opening a bank account in a grandchild's name and hiding money there.
GinPanda · 26-30, F
Love my aunt but no matter how large or small an issue is she always says it will pass, move forward. I appreciate her intent but it feels dismissive

He tells exaggerated lies which has hurt tremendously. Id love to ignore him but have no choice to have him in my life. 😔
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Chronic complaining
Adrift · 61-69, F
Talk all at the same time.
It seems like family gatherings have turned into a competition.
taneegoan · 31-35, F
judging me only by my nudity and sexual acts
Die off. I'm not trying to be a wise guy - for example, my second oldest sister, her daughter (my niece of course) and her daughter all died recently (within 2 yrs of one another).
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Ostracisation. 🫤

2006 was the last time I heard from anyone.
YMITheWayIM · 46-50, M
