My only resolution is to make no resolutions 😂😂🙂
Bignakedguy · 31-35, M
I plan on quitting my job by April
I want to learn how to properly do deadlifts. I’m too scared, my friend hurt his back once. Yikes.
I want to go to my first concert- I feel like a late bloomer when it comes to that.
I want to try to go to a rave. That’s another thing I been scared of. If I do go- I’m going to sew my own outfit.
Speaking of- sewing! I want to sew! Contrary to my username, I do love clothes and fashion.
That’s about it and I want to go fishing like when I was a kid.

No. I stopped New Year’s Resolutions some years ago when they seemed almost like guaranteed failure. I set one or two goals of things I need to do that I work towards, and begin a plan. It feels like less pressure, and more likely to happen. I also don’t share them with anyone. 😉

@Maple You don't have a job outside of your house?
Maple · 22-25, F
@samueltyler2 no my job is to raise our kids and make a home. I applaud those who do work outside the home but for us this is how we both wanted it.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Maple Everyone has to decide for themselves. Many families cannot make do with only one income these days.

No, I make changes when I think it’s what I need to feel better. There’s no right time for when to start working on something. It’s all about motivation.
HoeBag · 46-50, F
I do not make them. There are things I want to do but it has nothing to do with what month or year it is.
So many people think they are going to lose weight, quit smoking, pay off all their bills, or whatever.
They use "after the new year" as an excuse to delay but it never happens anyways.
Of course companies use the new year as an excuse to raise prices, so there goes whatever financial goals someone has.

Those are good goals I don’t have any resolutions right now but I usually come up with things I want to do as I go
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Normally no but I really do need to make some major decisions to improve my health and so I'm gonna drink booze and eat sugar over the holiday break and then devote myself to clean living after that. Which will include making my wife eat stuff she doesn't wanna eat lmao
Adogslife · 61-69, M
No. I’m naturally goal oriented. If I say I’m going to do something, I do it. Jan 1 is irrelevant.
Little is ever gained by quitting on yourself.

Worthy goals.
Mine is to increase my profile views and standing in the SW community.
Maybe even become mayor!

Well, tell that to the Americans who like the comfort and cozy feeling of living within a Democratic Republic, but who don't like the inconvenience of having to go out and vote when it comes to Electing the President of the United States.
By NOT voting at all, is a vote for the guy who wins the Election because those lazy assess who never voted, didn't do anything to prevent the buffoon from getting Elected and screwing up their country.
By NOT voting at all but still living in the country is indeed "Ghosting Democracy".

Not usually, and never formally, although I did decide to focus in on myself this year and it did pay off, mentally and physically. I have no plans, thus far, to resolute this coming year.
rinkydinkydoink · M
I believe I've stopped doing all the things that made me feel alive. I'm probably going to live a wee bit longer, though, so there's that...
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
Nope, I don't do that. I can be anytime of the year for me.
yugimotodm · 26-30, M
I’d like to exercise more, find a new place to live, and be more confident
SomeMichGuy · M
Great goals esp. for you & your family!
Musicman · 61-69, M
I especially liked your goal about going to church again. 😊😊😊😊😊
I personally don't make New Year resolutions. They have never worked for me so I just stopped making them. What kind of car does your husband have?

I may have a few small plans here-and-there, but the majority of the time, I just wing it.

No, I never make New Year's resolutions.
I never keep them, so there's no point in it.

I don't make resolutions anymore. What I discovered is that we will always manifest our true intent anyway, no matter what it is or when it happens.

No. It is just a number on a calendar.
