Do you make resolutions when you enter a new year?

I plan on quitting my job by April

I want to learn how to properly do deadlifts. I’m too scared, my friend hurt his back once. Yikes.

I want to go to my first concert- I feel like a late bloomer when it comes to that.

I want to try to go to a rave. That’s another thing I been scared of. If I do go- I’m going to sew my own outfit.

Speaking of- sewing! I want to sew! Contrary to my username, I do love clothes and fashion.

That’s about it and I want to go fishing like when I was a kid.

No. I stopped New Year’s Resolutions some years ago when they seemed almost like guaranteed failure. I set one or two goals of things I need to do that I work towards, and begin a plan. It feels like less pressure, and more likely to happen. I also don’t share them with anyone. 😉

I used to make them, but I don't anymore because I always fail 🙃

For example, I had one of your family goal too (Start going to church again) --> haven't acted upon it yet after three years...

I do not make them. There are things I want to do but it has nothing to do with what month or year it is.

So many people think they are going to lose weight, quit smoking, pay off all their bills, or whatever.
They use "after the new year" as an excuse to delay but it never happens anyways.

Of course companies use the new year as an excuse to raise prices, so there goes whatever financial goals someone has.

Those are good goals I don’t have any resolutions right now but I usually come up with things I want to do as I go

Normally no but I really do need to make some major decisions to improve my health and so I'm gonna drink booze and eat sugar over the holiday break and then devote myself to clean living after that. Which will include making my wife eat stuff she doesn't wanna eat lmao

Not usually, and never formally, although I did decide to focus in on myself this year and it did pay off, mentally and physically. I have no plans, thus far, to resolute this coming year.

I believe I've stopped doing all the things that made me feel alive. I'm probably going to live a wee bit longer, though, so there's that...
