Is a tunnel linking Russia and the USA a good idea ?

I am sure the Russian people are very nice...to each other. Or...🤔🤔🤔...perhaps not.

Since it's all pie in the sky at present, I would say that the citizens of Alaska would have to approve it. By ship is still the most efficient way to transport cargo. What good would a tunnel do? You'd have to ship whatever you want to send way the hell out of the way through terrain that can be cut off by weather for half the year.

Great idea, the good ol USA could send all the immigrants through it to fight for Russia against Ukraine. I reckon Putin would put a feather in Trumps hat (MAGA Cap) for that. :)
