@Nimbus You can apply it to anything. Raising your voice to others is normal until you do it every day, and tack on a smidgeon of gradually escalating violence. THAT is perversion of anger and temper.

You can apply it to food. A lot of people have trouble controlling their eating habits, but when they lose ALL control, you have the 1000 lb sisters...and THAT is a perversion.

Drugs, alcohol...all of those habits can escalate and become a perversion.

A mother's love can seem normal and beautiful, until it becomes smothering and controlling and the child is ruined. THAT is a perversion.
