Ever feel like you’re basically doomed?

So a long time ago I read an article about Alzheimer’s being linked to genetics. My grandmother passed from Alzheimer’s at age 52.

Quite a while back I also saw something about chronic insomnia greatly increasing your risk for Alzheimer’s. I have always been an insomniac.

A few years ago I started alternating between diphenhydramine and doxylamine succinate to overcome insomnia. A few months ago I saw a video that linked those two with increased risk of Alzheimer’s.

I feel like…wait, what was I talking about?

Don’t borrow trouble. In other words don’t worry until you have something to worry about.
Obviously this is far easier said than done and my mom has always been an Olympic champion level worrier so take everything with a grain of salt. If you can find healthy habits from diet and exercise to mental fitness and agility you can improve your chances of fending off dementia for as long as possible. By 85 everyone has some cognitive decline but obviously there are other factors and the best way to improve your chances of successfully achieving your best possible results is a healthy lifestyle.
It's important to note that many factors can influence the risk of Alzheimer's, including age, genetics, underlying health conditions, and lifestyle choices.

"has always been an Olympic champion level warrior" too...as she had a lot to deal with..
and so I'd take her advice, I actually love it, to not borrow extra trouble 😌👌🏼

@being She’s taught me a lot both directly and indirectly and continues to teach me as well. Then again she was a teacher so I don’t think it’s a coincidence that she’s good at giving lessons. Thank you for your sweet response. ☺😊

If I were you, I'd find healthy ways to work with insomnia. Turn to nature and follow the basics. No screens or strong lights nearing bedtime. You can try candles in the evenings..
It'll take sometime to change but it's the only way to actually heal it and not treat it temporarily.

I feel more like a frog in water being slowly heated up. I feel like there in something I could do to prevent bad things happening but I don't know what it is so I don't do anything about it, maybe to not do something that is bad even worse. If I was convinced that those bad things are going to happen regardless, I wouldn't bother my mind with it but feeling like I could do something but not sure what it is makes me anxious, frustrated and helpless.

After losing my mother to dementia, I’ve wondered about that, too. 🥺

Try viagra! The NIH published a study showing viagra effectively inhibited the development of Alzheimers. The study recommended the FDA approve viagra as a treatment for Alzheimers.
