I'm feeling really lonely lately

My daughters are leaving the next and I'm not really handling it well

Awww, Empty nest is so real. Be strong Mama. 🤗My baby moved to a different state. He graduated that May and moved in July. I was so lonely and sad for months. Find you several hobbies to keep yourself busy.

@Nebula it's not a good feeling but you got this!

@PEACH4LIFE my youngest is stuck with me for at least 3 more years

@Nebula Good! She's gonna keep you busy!!!

Empty nest sounds good, but in reality, I really miss having them around.
But they both are thriving with good careers. So, I have to be happy for them, even though I don't see them enough.

It is difficult when your children start leaving. Especially when you're single. Mine are all grown and at times I enjoy my freedom and other times I think about all the times I made decisions to stay single to provide a stable life style for my kids. And to show my kids I put them first.

Looking back now, I don't regret it. Even if it means I will spend the rest of my life single

@Bang5luts I did the same and I don't regret it either

@Nebula all the good ones do. 😔

I am sorry to hear that. I have to imagine its very hard to have kids finally leaving the house. College or new job and whatnot.

I hope it eases as time goes on for you.

Wish I was there and we could hang out. I know it’s not the same as your daughters though.

They are ready to fly because you did a good job. You'll be okay.
