@GunFinger Oh! So when you were a kid. I thought you took the girls there. My mistake. How did you like it?
GunFingerF
@Musicman i must've loved it. Too long ago. I went with family, aunts and cousins.

Montreal to Vancouver; Lockheed Electra I think. About 1/2 hour out of Winnipeg one engine shut down but we carried on anyway; crossed the Rockies on 3. I don't think that was the recommended procedure. Anyway we had a window seat and sat watching that useless feathered prop the rest of the way. But the view became very beautiful, with sunset on one side of the mountains and moonlight on the other. Coming in over Vancouver in the dark with house & street lights all glowing was like fairyland. Best flight I've ever had! Thanks for asking and prompting my recollection.

Been on many planes and aircraft. Probably more than most. Yet still it would be everywhere. 馃檭馃槉

First time? I think I was eight years old. And from LAX to Sacramento.

Longest flight? At 14 from LAX to Chicago to Frankfurt Germany. Alone I might add.

First helicopter flight at ten. Just a fly around the LA basin.

First military aircraft? C-130 at 19 from San Antonio to March AFB California.

Weirdest flight? At 19 from Denver to Cheyenne. Actually a helicopter that kept having Air turbulence problems.
