Why is chewing tobacco losing it's attraction ?

@Nimbus My uncle was a retired farmer and he would smoke outside and chew tobacco inside. Would take a coffee can and use it for a spittoon. Sit it on the floor next to his chair. It got kicked over more than once on the living room rug and it would turn my stomach so bad. I would tell him to clean it up and he would, I didn’t get angry often over accidents but that was nasty.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout seems like a cowboy or farmer thing when they don’t want to stop for a cigarette break. They can put a wad of it in their cheek or gum and get the nicotine that way. It can cause oral cancer and the commercials on TV here might have had something to do with lowering the usage. Plus in some places all forms of tobacco are prohibited. They did that at the university after I retired, and had cops and others watch out for usage on campus areas including parking lots. The younger generation is opting for flavored vapes.

@AbbeyRhode Well it's mainly seen in movies but not so often now.

@Nimbus My friends and I tried it when I was 13 because we thought we could get a buzz. It made me so sick, I literally turned green.
