Um I don’t deal with this now but I have come to terms with this before

I directed my focus inward and became the best version of myself that I wanted to be. I turned out every one else’s opinion and searched for my own fulfillment

Humans are social creatures and love and acceptance if a need for us. If I do not receive love and acceptance from those around me, my first inclination is to figure out if it is my problem or theirs. Is my behavior unacceptable for the group I am trying to fit into or are their expectations to much?

I am conservative, it is reasonable that the local progressives around me aren't going to be too happy with me. I can't or don't want to change my core beliefs, I need to find those who share my core values. If I am looking for love at the local dance club, a gaggle of 20 something women with energy to burn, a 60 year old pudgy bald guy isn't going to have much luck. I take a realistic look at myself and what I offer and what the other parties require, and if it doesn't match, I look somewhere else, or, I fix myself.

I am in that situation right now. What else can I do but keep living and working and adhering to my routine? It's lonely, dull, and if I let myself think about it too long, I'll get depressed. I just keep busy to avoid thinking about it.

self-discipline in accomplishing what you really have to do for yourself in this life. if you have that feeling.

everything else is irrelevant. a man is always alone. even if he is surrounded by a crowd of admirers.

Idk i have lots of family and so many friends.. I'm sorry you don't have people.. you could always get a pet (but only if you are going to take good care of it)

Friends and family don't automatically guarantee love, it's visa versa actually.

This world is need based. Stop providing to your beloveds with the needful and See the outcome.
Stop getting up on time to prepare meals & observe long faces.
The list is endless. Fill for self.
So, loving self goes till grave. Emotional attachments are subjective. To each their own.

Having said that, still keep providing without expecting till your limits allow.

Hmm idk, try making friends? Do you work?
Maybe try helping at a homeless shelter kitchen, or at a nursing home, or animal rescue. I would have animals to care for for sure. I already do, but i would have more.

I’d get a dog

It would make me want to drink more. That's for sure. But, it doesn't matter how ugly or overweight you are. There's someone uglier and more overweight. You can find [i]someone[/i] to talk to whether it's online or in person.

I am a loner in general. I think there would be a lot of freedom in that to go do as you please.
I very much love the people in my life and glad they can even tolerate me but if things were different, I would survive
