Pizza and Sandwiches and Escuchame!!!!

I had a VERY weird dream this morning. I was in a dentists office, and the dentist said that he had Pizza for everyone!!!

So I opened the box, which was hot on the bottom, but there was no pizza, only sandwiches wrapped in Saran Wrap. There was a large group of Spanish speaking people in the next room, and I started unpacking the sandwiches and yelling out what KIND of sandwich it was, so that they could come and get it.

I yelled out "Pepperoni!" "Spam!" "Turkey!"

And then a woman in the other room started saying I was bad because I didn't like one of the men, who was a creep in my opinion...and she started talking about all the good things he had done...and I yelled out, "ESCUCHAME!!!" because I wanted to explain WHY he was a creep...but no one stopped talking and no one listened to me.

What if...its less about the “creepy guy” and more about...

Trusting your perception...but like something or someone is making you feel like you shouldn’t.

And your mind is pushing back:

“No....listen to me!!!!.”

You expected something comforting simple....pizza.

But there is disappointment in sandwiches wrapped....not simple.

Where did you want to simply explain something but didn’t get the chance?

Am I second-guessing a gut feeling about someone?

@Punxi Oooo. YES! There is a real life situation at my weekly food pantry event where I am angry with one of my neighbors. He is entitled, grabby, and mouthy, and he is bothering my volunteers...but ONE of my volunteers is sort of defending him.

I had to look up escuchame (wondering if it was some kind of deli meat) which led me to an absolutely hilarious thread having to do with the program King of the Hill which included people's real-life experiences with clueless people trying to speak or understand Spanish. When I have a dream like that, I spend far too much time trying to work out what made my brain come up with it. That would be a real puzzler, I'm sure.
