There was long ago a user on this site, that would block anyone, that didn't like her posts.

I do believe she has left the site long ago, even though she had me blocked. 😆

That must be the utmost in wanting validation though. To leave this site, just because not enough had given her the validation likes she wanted.

Women. You don't have to chase. It's the other way around for validation. Just putting yourself out there in expectance of something in return is validation.

The seeking, by the object of validation, is the problem though.

I couldn't have cared less that she blocked me. She didn't go after me, nor I her. She still wanted the validation (the like). And why the block.

Had a catfish do the same thing recently. She wanted the validation. Those that will validate (the subjects) are willing to pay the catfish (the object). In other words the object wanting the validation. Money can be validation as well as simply attention.

Yeah, gave away a bit too much of myself with certain guys when I was younger and I tried too hard to get them to love me. The older smarter me would say it's only right when it's right and you can't force a square peg into a round hole.

Unfortunately, yes. Took me a while to realize some people don't want you, they just want to know you want them. I've since retired from that position.

I think so... im not 100% sure because of my state of mind. We dated for along time but in hindsight alot of issues that seemed obviously avoidable, but were not , may have been staged.
