Would you rather visit Mars, or the Moon?🌛

Top | New | Old
4meAndyou · F
Neither one. I've been to deserts on earth...and wanted to leave. No sense in traveling for a long, long time to have a similar experience.
thrash · 31-35, M
I've always been a moon person. but when i picture what that would look like... looking at earth from the moon seems depressing

..an empty horizon seems so much better in comparison..

oh wait you said visit ...i don't see much value in merely visiting ..lame ..I'd rather just have another chance to lucid dream :p then i can do both.. without putting my life at risk..
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
I still have to many places to visit on earth so I'm good
BlobbyMcBlobface · 100+, M
I'd rather spend the money on making earth a better place.
gregloa · 61-69, M
Already been there
Why don't we send Bezos and Musk up there and they can just send us postcards and tell us all about both?? Better there than here.
@whowasthatmaskedman You mean REAL penetration? Not just a fake wound to his ear? ;-)
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@MaBalzEsHari I will sell jars of magic ear healing cream...😷

I’m more into moons in general.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Neither, but at least the Moon is only three day's travel away. A journey to Mars would take some months each way.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
I would be extremely lucky to even get out into low earth orbit.

A space station visit in geosynchronous orbit would be a miracle.

A lunar landing would simply be impossible at my age.
Bignakedguy · 31-35, M
I’ll party on the moon 🌕
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
I would want to go to Mars
Nunki · 31-35, F
The sun 🔥
Pretzel · 70-79, M
@Nunki be sure to go at night so it will be cooler
lissah · 36-40, F
Neither. Earth is ok for me.
TurtlePink · 51-55, M
I’d like to go to Uranus, please
exexec · 70-79, C
Neither, but if I have to go, send me to the moon. I'll be back in a few days. The Mars trip is seven months just to get there to die.
neither, I prefer realms naturally hospitable to humans, and then to just gaze upon the moon from there, I can far more appreciate the moon from afar, where the aura of mystery and lore remains intact

let's be honest, right here on Earth the desert sucks and the poles suck, so imagine environments even worse than that, landscapes just devoid of life, there's nothing to romanticize there, nor is there anything to respect in squandering resources on such vanity projects when our own planet is still very much broken and should be the first priority

FreddieUK · 70-79, M
As a very serious person I would like neither since they both lack gravity.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@FreddieUK Mars has gravity. But less than earth. And a thin, unbreathable atmosphere. It should be more siesmicly stable, not being pulled at by a nearby planet all the time.. So the potential for underground shelter is better. And I would be further away from those nasty neighbours too..😷
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@whowasthatmaskedman I never let facts get in the way of a good pun.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@FreddieUK Agreed.. Life is way too short to be taken seriously..😷
Isn’t there any place further away?
Pretzel · 70-79, M
I'm shocked somebody didn't say "Uranus"
craig7 · 70-79, M
@Pretzel Yes,just the sort of low comedy we expect to see here!
craig7 · 70-79, M
Maybe the moon,a trip to Mars is just too long!
hunkalove · 70-79, M
Is Uranus available?
fun4us2b · M
@hunkalove no, but it has rings around it anyway...
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Moon is probably the 'safer' of the two.
Alyosha · 36-40, M
Mars. It's further away.
Wiseacre · F
Moon..mars is too far.
Pfuzylogic · M
Uranus and investigate the source of the smell!
fun4us2b · M
The Moon is far more convenient...
Hireath · 36-40, M
Mars. The Moons been done already.
No. Blowing up asteroids or comets to see if they're alive is wrong, too. American people just don't care. After the Indians, the moon! And Mars! Nothing rings a bell when you're pure evil.
Sutten · 36-40, F
Musicman · 61-69, M
The Moon. Mars is just too far away.
