what do you do when you don't like leaving your comfort zone

i have to leave my flat tomorrow and get a taxi to go see my psychiatrist, i hate leaving my apartment as i get easily stressed, anxious and paranoid, i also have social anxiety and feel anxious being in public places and around people.....but i have to go as its an important appointment...there's no way out of it.

Social anxiety is hard stuff but it’s good you are getting to your appointment. And the best way to get through social anxiety is exposure therapy. So that would mean exposing yourself to social situations more often. The more you do it the more comfortable it will become over time. I know this because I’m walking talking social anxiety lol. Ask your therapist about it if you haven’t already!

I have social anxiety as well, just get to your appointment and focus on your psychiatrist, take an anti anxiety pill before you go & before you know it you will be back home in your comfort zone.

All you can do is go, get it over with and hurry back home. Listen to music or a podcast or something to keep your mind off of the outside world and just walk with a purpose.
