@PatKirby they have a law in Oklahoma that caskets for sale here must be manufactured here. That’s part of the racket. If a person wants to go out of state and buy one they can’t stop them but when you are making funeral arrangements it’s too late for that. They’ll also tell people at the funeral homes that’s it’s a law that you have to have a liner for grave adding extra expenses. But my daughter’s sociology class had a section where they learned about these laws and there’s none that require a liner for a grave.

That's terrible and borderline abusive. The funeral home I went to for my mother was very professional but I clearly noticed they position themselves to make money from your grief. Especially when you are at your weakest, thus they can maximize their profits from death through grief of the living. Everything's so expensive. Non-stop revenue because people will always die, providing a constant flow of dollar$. Yeah, it's a racket. I don't recall it always being this way. I recall this thing called respect for the dead. I guess those days are gone, replaced by the daze of the death industry.

@PatKirby have noticed more people having graveside services or just memorials after they can get everyone collected together.
