you can practice lucid dreaming... there is a lot if guides on youtube

Eternity · 26-30, M
I can but i couldn't really explain how. Just can.

I only really do it when I'm having a bad dream though.

Or when something in my dream annoys or teases me.

Like one time I dreamed I won a bunch of money but was like "naw this is a dream, let me not get my damn hopes up."
@Eternity Yeah, that's when it works best for me. Couple of months ago, I was having a very irritating conversation with my dad when I suddenly realized I was dreaming, so I flew out the window.

I don't know if controlling your entire dream is possible... although dreaming can be directed to what you want to dream about before you finally enter REM.

Before falling asleep, deep thoughts about who/what you want to dream about slides you into your first dream about just that.

Controlling a dream beyond that I'm not sure of..

You have to learn to control your mind first, meditating before bed to put yourself into the right state of mind usually works once you know how
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I did it maybe three times but I can't induce the state on my will during the consciousness. Also, never worked with sexual stuff.

I heard that keeping a dream journal works (over time), but I have never gotten around to trying it

It's possible but it takes a lot of practice.

I don't know if it's weird.

But I feel like I can control my dreams.

Like, I'm not afraid to fight it or change it.

I can't change how it begins, but I can sort of control how I it ends.

Idk if that's normal. 🤔
UnlikeableAndy · 36-40, M
@Nevaeh0081 it’s Not weird. But it’s amazing if you can just do it without preparing or thinking about it
spice1 · M
@UnlikeableAndy the most important thing you have to remember is never lose control, in your dreams you can be whatever or whoever you want to be, I learned how to do it out necessity when I a little kid, after a traumatic injury i used to have really bad dreams and no one could help me, I had to learn to control my dreams.

Ill get back to you on that

Do Not reflect over the irrelevant.
No. That's not likely.
What you're talking about is lucid dreaming. There are ways to prepare your mind so that you can do it. But most of them basically involve noticing details that aren't right.

Try this. Throughout the day, even if you're sure you're awake, pick up a book and read through it. If you were asleep and dreaming, the words would shift and move around, unlike boring old real life.
