I still don’t understand why ice is only after the Mexican immigrants
When LA has many other immigrants too like there’s a big Asian community there’s a big African community and ice isn’t going after them?

Undocumented immigrants are much more likely to be from Latin America, especially in Southern California. I’m sure there are illegal immigrants from other countries, but Hispanic immigrants are the majority and the ones who are most often accused of being in gangs. So they are going to most of the people being targeted by ICE.

The raids and arrests are performative, playing to Trump's fascist base. They only care about "Mexicans" — i.e., anyone from Latin America. And ICE-is doesn't care about issues like legality or any of that. The goal is to make uninformed Americans believe that a) there is a crisis — nay, an invasion! — coming from the south and b) the Trump regime is doing something about it.

@TurtlePink Well you and I have very different ideas about what is innocent but why? Because if all violations of immigration are illegal then nobody has any validation or cover story to do any of those nefarious things that we would agree aren't innocent

because rump didn't run on a platform that the Yakuza is overrunning the country. It was all about this insane idea that MS-13 is taking over and we need to grab everyone who looks Mexican and throw them in an off-book foreign prison.

@TurtlePink do you want to know the truth? I'm trying to say it delicately and with love as best as I can, It's because they populate at an alarming rate and he is trying to make America white. This is why Roe was overturned. Less white babies are being born. More Hispanic babies are being born. He's afraid of becoming a minority. White America is khaki colored . Any one with a brain can see that Hispanic people have always pulled their weight and worked hard in this country. Harder than anyone else.That MS-13 spiel was only to arouse the racists. They aren't any more violent than anyone else. There are Chinese gangs, black ones, that sell drugs also but yet he made only the Hispanics guilty by association of skin.
