Dacrowman · 70-79, M
I've eaten one 😂🤣
@Dacrowman Only one???

windinhishair · 70-79, M
No. I helped people train for marathons, and I did up to 20 mile runs myself in training, but never signed up for one myself. I didn't have too many problems on the long runs. I am one of those people who is blessed with endurance but lacking in speed.
LadyGrace · 80-89
Yes, to the bathroom, at an inopportune time.
Nope but my husband does and he can’t stop talking about it.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@BloviatingBuffoon You married a good man.
😃
@GeniUs probably but he still talks a lot about it. I support him anyway. I go along with him and our son when he joins the big marathons. I’m also glad it’s a healthy habit.
Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
Its better driving in a car apparently
sarahcupcake · 36-40, F
@Justenjoyit That poor dog is prolly rushing to the bathroom at Grace Towers, completely unaware that it's further than a marathon......

@Justenjoyit mmmmmm snuggly..!! 🙂
Angelctt · F
Only done a half
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@Angelctt that's still impressive
Jenny1234 · 56-60, M
I did a 5k bubble run wearing a tutu. Does that count?
sarahcupcake · 36-40, F
I've only done half marathons
Does the five meter sprint to the bathroom count??? 🤔🤔🤔
windinhishair · 70-79, M
@HootyTheNightOwl It does if you do it 8,439 times in a row.
@windinhishair That sounds too much like hard work to me...
windinhishair · 70-79, M
@HootyTheNightOwl A marathon isn't easy, especially the last 10,000 meters.
Harmonium1923 · 56-60, M
I did one and that was enough. The cardiac conditioning was fine but the training and the race itself took too much of a toll on muscles and joints. I battled cramps on my long training runs and in the last 5 miles of the race itself. Wanted to do it in 4 hours but it was more like 4:20. It also took me forever to feel I could run normally again after the race. I’m much happier with half marathons.
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
No

A few 21 km ones....
It was half the experience
KatyO83 · 41-45, F
Nope furthest is a 10 miler
GeniUs · 56-60, M
Yes I managed to complete one (I also have a DNF and a DNS after paying to enter). They only get bad if you worry about the time it takes let's face it you could walk that distance in about 7 hours, include a bit of jogging and you'll be easily under 6 hours.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
No - I was fairly good at short-distance sprints in PE at school but that's all. I much prefer walking. I have though completed one-day, 50-mile road walks. Couldn't do it now!
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Running days are decades long over. I mostly walk now. Up to ten miles.

Ran mostly shorter distances back then 440 (402m), 1320 (1.2km) and mile (1.6 km). Last in 58 seconds.
MrAverage1965 · 61-69, M
I ran one when I was in my 20s, in training I had run as far as 18 miles with no problem but the additional 8 were far more difficult than I imagined.
HumanEarth · F
Only once when I was in early 20s for a blood drive

I don't remember how long it was, how long it took, but I did made to the finish and honored my pledges that sponsored me.
BigImo · 26-30, F
A few times. It's really not as difficult as people think. I try to run a half marathon at least once a week before work
SW-User
No and regret I never did. I challeged my brother to run a marathon with me when we were young but he just ignored the idea. Can't now my right knee is in very bad shape
i'm not sure this is a beneficial activity to undertake. The strsses on the body are severe. FiveK runs seem morre sensible.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Nope -- closest I ever came was the daily one-mile run before high school football practice.
WandererTony · 56-60, M
I did a 10k 4 years back. But then Covid happened. I am not too sure now whether I can repeat that one!!
OldBrit · 61-69, M
Absolutely NOT.

My daughter ran London marathon a couple of years ago.
A Marathon is a car brand used as an English taxi. Right?
JovialMoose · 51-55, M
God made me a sprinter and sports person. I only run when chased.
saintsong · 41-45, F
Nahh I just walk to the store...
No, I've never managed a gas station

JimboSaturn · 56-60, M

jackjones68 · 51-55, M

jackjones68 · 51-55, M
Ive done half marathons

Tlbhtx · F
No just 5ks
Ew, I don’t run. I speed walk.
smiler2012 · 61-69
@SW-User 😆i am overweight and unfit health wise a marathon would finish me off lol
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
used to do several events when I was younger, most were in Germany when I was stationed over there between deployments. Good way to meet/hookup with sexy toned babes (plenty of stamina too... 😇)
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
I get breathless even if i run in dreams
GnomeyGee · 41-45, M
Nah, hell I wouldn't even run if someone started Chad me 😂😂
StygianKohlrabi · 46-50, M
I go short distances. Once I ran half marathon distance and I barely survived.
@StygianKohlrabi I run short distances too. Yesterday I ran to the bathroom.....three times.
Allelse · 36-40, M
I remember something like that as a little kid and hating every minute of it, getting screamed at by the sports teacher because I didn't give a shit and just wanted to walk with my friends, or talk with the girls.
DDonde · 31-35, M
No. I've begun to really enjoy running over the past few years but I'm not at that point yet. They sound brutal.
empanadas · 31-35, M
I can't walk two feet without rolling
Nanori · F
@empanadas ahahhaha 😂
