All your bad experiences made you the strong and tough person you are today agree?馃ぉ

I used to be the girl who would cry at intimidating situations now I laugh them off or brush them off馃槍

Yes you either learn to deal with situations and stand up to people or you become a victim. I choose to learn how to deal with them so it eventually made me a whole lot stronger as painful as the learning process was.

Is this a democrat or a republican thing?

@FloorGenAdm both馃槀
@Witchthatwantsfun 馃i think you are taking a more mature attitude too these arseholes and letting things they say go over your head and laughing them off . that basically is the best and only way too deal with that sort and not let them see it bothers you what they say 馃槅
No, just wary

I want this to be true for me, but I still feel all the embarrassment and pain of everything and think about it all a lot! I still get upset, but hopefully it will make me strong in later life!

Yep. But in becoming tougher, I鈥檝e also become bitter, untrusting and disillusioned with life. Doesn鈥檛 mean I鈥檝e become a better person.

I'm a survivor but trauma still gets the better of me at times. I am working on getting stronger all the time though. No option but to.
True. Experiences good or bad makes us smart and matured. We just don't fall for cheap skates ..

In some regard. But letting go of the past isn't an easy thing to do.
@Thevy29 true, I鈥檝e had to reinvent myself several times.
They did shaped me into what I am today. Toughness & strength takes a Lot of time though.
My mental health deteriorated instead 馃拃

@MorbidCynic I think that might still be a way of your inner self defending it'self. Notice crazy people can't get emotionally hurt馃ぃ馃槄
It still hurts when women reject my marriage proposals

Or they made me weird
Some of them made me guarded and unkind for awhile. People like to say "what doesn鈥檛 kill you makes you stronger". I maintain that it can also leave you emotionally damaged.

I'd say the tough experiences that I was able to overcome made me tougher. Some of my bad experiences were traumatic and made me weaker though. It's a mixed bag.
Don't see how busting my knuckle helped though. Lol
