Is being pregnant and giving birth for the second time easier than first time experience?

I was still a teen when I gave birth the first time. It was an extreme experience, almost overwhelming. I can't really say I'm fully aware of what happened.
Yes the second time was easier because I knew what to expect. And the birth was faster.

@helenS that was also my experience as a teen mom tbh

Depends on circumstance… each pregnancy and birth experience is unique

But for me the second birth was much easier, but the pregnancy was tougher bc now I had a toddler to keep up with and care for while going through all the stages.

Each birth is different. The only reason my second was easier is because I had no pain meds for the first. It made a huge difference. I know someone who had seven children, and her last was the worst. She said if she’d had the 7th first, she’d only have one child.

For me, the pregnancy and recovery were harder but the birth itself was faster.

It's easier for most women because you've been through the experience before so know what to expect, and this applies to both the emotional and physical aspects of pregnancy. My second labor didn't hurt as much when it came to pushing, and she came out fast. Also I enjoyed the pregnancy more because I felt ready and really bonded with my daughter. I bonded with my son too, but I was more immature when I became pregnant with him and other circumstances (like my parents dying) made it an otherwise horrible time for me.
For me the second birth was a bit quicker but the pain was the same 😖

Though I'm not a woman so I don't know for sure. I've heard it can be a bit easier. You are used to that pain and it's been stretched out once already

Generally yes because the body has already pushed a football sized human out a small opening.
