Walmart isn’t open 24/7 anymore But I thought people can still sleep there?

@itsoeasy here they do have security but security doesn’t make anyone leave. they’re just there in case someone tries to rob a nearby Store or something. That would be inhumane. Homeless people have to stay somewhere.
There were a few times when I was staying in my car at Walmart for DV reasons. The security guard was very nice but she did tell me once I needed to move to a specific area because the area I was in wasn’t very safe and to move where the light was

@DeluxedEdition At the couple of Walmarts that I go to, security usually stays inside most of the time unless there is a situation in the parking lot or something like that.

@SubstantialKick I would hope so. I don’t think it would be safe for them to stay outside all night

Plenty of times when I was too drunk to get home. A bus stop roof, a phone box, a view point wall…

I have slept in public places a lot of times when younger and drunk. Kind of got fun when you would not know where you would wake up the next day.

Only when I was camping, and once with a friend waiting in line for rooms in a preferred dorm senior year (we got them, too).

Yes - I slept in a park. It was cold and uncomfortable.
