Walmart isn’t open 24/7 anymore But I thought people can still sleep there?

@DeluxedEdition in uk cops come along and move people on if they sleep in their cars, its awful as people are so tired already, there should be aplace where homeless people can sleep in thier cars

@DeluxedEdition Yeah I think that there are employees who still work there overnight, despite it being closed to customers. So I guess it would be okay as long as it's low key haha.

@itsoeasy here they do have security but security doesn’t make anyone leave. they’re just there in case someone tries to rob a nearby Store or something. That would be inhumane. Homeless people have to stay somewhere.
There were a few times when I was staying in my car at Walmart for DV reasons. The security guard was very nice but she did tell me once I needed to move to a specific area because the area I was in wasn’t very safe and to move where the light was

@DeluxedEdition At the couple of Walmarts that I go to, security usually stays inside most of the time unless there is a situation in the parking lot or something like that.

@SubstantialKick I would hope so. I don’t think it would be safe for them to stay outside all night
