What's making you feel tense? I just applied for a new job and waiting so I'm tense right now😬

I'm generally a pretty easy going guy. Don't get worked about much of anything. But I'm currently in the process of getting my sanity restored in the courts. And it's got me a little tense.
Nobody wants to sign off on a "crazy" person and say they are mentally competent again. No matter how long it's been since I committed the offense that ended up with me being declared "Not Guilty By Reason Of Insanity". Or the time that has passed since the cessation of any symptoms.
Not to minimize, but my crime was relatively minor. Nobody was hurt. Although I did pose a threat to others at one point. (I took the cops on a high speed chase during a psychotic break)
It's been over 7 years since I had any symptoms of my mental illness however.
I'm just so ready to be a legally sane person again. And not under scrutiny by the courts and the program that supervises my "rehabilitation".
It's really the only thing that has me a bit on edge. Otherwise, life is good. I work. Pay bills. Take vacations. Have friends and romantic interests.
I'm optimistic that it will happen soon. Paperwork is being filed. Will have to appear in court. But it all looks pretty good.

Uncertainty about my future. But I’ve always felt that way and things have more or less worked out in my favor. Maybe try meditation and yoga and if possible let go of the outcome.

You should get it though. Library jobs are hard to get cause you have to pretty much wait for someone to retire. I know I try to get on a libraries as well. But so far just get to volunteer sometimes.

This is awkward, but my office has an ongoing sexual harrassment investigation and I was named because I supervised the two people in the complaint. I handled it right, but as an aside, I have probably broken 100 other rules, and am waiting for the investigation to get me fired. I might deserve it, but not for what started it all!

Yes that’s always hard , just keep looking in case you don’t get it.

Work has been hectic, nonstop and the deadlines keep coming.

I'm tense because my dad thinks it's cool to keep changing the schedule from one day to the next, and even multiple times on the same damn day. I swear he gets off on it.
