that smell that clothes get when you leave them in the washer for a few hours before you put them in the dryer. I recently threw away 4 new shirts because I couldn't wash out that smell.

Death

First time I experienced it was when I was 19 years old working in the medical industry I remember finishing my shift and the entirety and psychology of the job hitting me hard.

I went on to do teaching after that but that experience never left my memory, I doubt it ever will it’s that raw brutal side of reality most can’t face up to yet the job had to be done…. Empathy and selflessness from workers needed or don’t do the job.
