Clowns, still am.
SW-User
@Nic1202 In my generation, clowns were seen as friendly figures. Ever since Stephen King's IT, I've seen them as creepy fecks.

@zaatar Same. He was usually a chill guy, but he if felt that one of his kids needed the belt, he didn't hesitate for one second.
I hated it when the door of my room was closed when I was supposed to sleep and I hated darkness during the night.... so my room door always had to be ajar and a small lamp always had to be switched on in the hallway. ;)

@RobinPhoenix I could literally see like a cat in the dark as a kid. My mum, who could not, insisted on night lites.
@SW-User Does that mean you don't have the ability anymore as an adult?
SW-User
@RobinPhoenix I lost it a few years ago around the time I got bifocals. As a child, the pupils of my eyes were enormous, like a cats'. With the aging process, they became normal sized.

I was scared of Santa Claus and the hell.

My grandaunt always told me that Santa Claus will come and slap me, put me in his big sac and take me away from my home and I always was released when the day passed and he didn´t take me away.

Furthermore I was scared a lot of the hell because my grandaunt told me stories about stories, what it is for a terrible place and that potentially I will be there one day. 😕
SW-User
@SubstantialKick Exactly. My parents wanted me to conform to their beliefs. In my case, it worked -- not because I feared hell which I figured was a long way off then, but because I wanted my parents approval so much.
@SW-User Growing up is not always a blessing. In matters of faith, life experience always brings more doubts and more questions than answers.
SW-User
@RobinPhoenix I totally agree. Every day of my life, I feel I know less and less.
SW-User
Old people! Lol
SW-User
I read needles as noodles and was like…how even 🌚
SW-User
Not much. I was full of enthusiasm and afraid of almost nothing. I had to learn the hard way that there are some things that aren't worth the effort.
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
I still hate needles!!
SubstantialKick · 36-40, M
@Adaydreambeliever I just got my first COVID vaccine today, and I was a bit nervous...lol.
@Adaydreambeliever I can empathize...I had the Pasteur treatment as a kid.

SubstantialKick · 36-40, M
@smiler2012 Oh yeah, I hated the dentist too. I still hate going to the dentist as an adult.
