robertsnj Keep in mind that I am freshly off active duty with the Navy, so very early mornings are still my norm (although I've always been generally a morning person). I wake somewhere between 0400-0500 every morning with no alarm (I'm in bed and on here around 2200 most nights and asleep usually before 2300). So, morning workout? Well this is a habit I got into a very long time ago...
I've been studying taekwondo since I was seven years old. During early high school I began getting much more serious about it and that entailed a daily workout. Growing up in a very touristy beach town made access to the water easy for me. So, I started back then with a morning walk to the beach (less than a quarter mile), stretches, taekwondo forms, and my run. Once I started working with the Bo staff, all of that was with my Bo in my hand (yes, even the run).
Today I live in a condo complex in the same town and am much closer to the water so its out my back door, down to the water and a very similar routine: I've added a body-weight workout, the run is longer, & the taekwondo forms more complex,
