Just start out slow.I recommend doing exercises before breakfast.There is no fresh energy supply from food so your body has to burn up body fat.
No takeaway and no fast foods.A rowing machine will work out most of your muscles and you can use it at home.

OTOH...if you are going to join a gym.... make sure it is one that has regularly scheduled ZUMBA classes that meet your schedule... they are actually pretty fun....
