I'm in the mood to teach about evolution! What questions or criticisms do you have for the Theory of Evolution?

I'll address them as best i can, layman though i am!✌️
Carazaa · F
Evolution theory has created a few problems in society. Not only is it not helping us but it is bringing existential confusion in society.

1. Because it is a direct contradiction and insult to Gods word, it has created doubt about God's existence, purpose for living, confusion in identity, and decreased our reliance on the Bible for answers and guidance.

2. Since we have relied less on God's word and more on man's word, we have an increase in divorce, less Father involvement, more mental health problems, more drug use, more teen suicides, more homelessness, more materialism, and a deterioration of society as a whole.

3. Since evolution theory has ignored Gods word it has also increased Gods wrath and judgment on the world. God blesses those who love him for a thousand generations and he curses families for 3 to 4 generations of those who hate him he says in the 10 commandments.

4. Besides attacking our faith in God's word, evolution theory doesn't answer fundamental questions like where does the first cell evolve from? Why are we here? Is there afterlife? Are we accountable for our actions to God or can we just please ourselves? Is there a God who will help us if we turn t him? What is the purpose in life.

Evolution theory leaves us with more questions than answers. The evolution theory contradicts Gods word, leaves no hope for heaven, and leaves no reason for living.

God's word gives us answers, hope, guidance, and comfort.

Oh now you know it all, yet you mock God! And His children! If I were you I would sincerely call upon Jesus when you really need Him. Those who call upon the Lord He will show them great and mighty things that of which you did not know....God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. The wisest thing you can do is to obey the Lord.

Thank you for the daily joke. It brightened my day. Maybe you can tell another joke soon.

@ElwoodBlues How majestic!
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@ElwoodBlues I've always loved studying the tree of life, fascinating and mind blowing. How lucky we are to be here.

Something I heard a lot in school was “I don’t believe in evolution, but I do believe in natural selection.” Is that cherry picking?
Straylight · 31-35, F
@sstronaut I think it comes from transitioning from a strictly biblical belief system to one that’s incorporating more science. Like they’re trying to meet it in the middle.
@Straylight Someone just trying to sit on the fence

@Straylight evolution is the process and Natural Selection is the mechanism that drives it
Pikaaaaa! I havnt seen you in forever
@TryingtoLava Hey! Yeah i've just been doing other things for a while but every now and then i check in lol

@sstronaut It is a pretty cool transition.

Wow, the idea of secondarily aquatic just kinda excites the mind and thinking about that transition of switching from land to sea over time...

Even the Bible teaches evolution =

Wisdom 19:18-21 (CEB) = "18 If we are careful to observe events, we can see just how the elements of the universe are transformed. It’s the same transformation that happens when someone changes the sounds that a harp makes by changing the key while continuing to play the same melody. 19 In this way, land animals were changed into underwater creatures, while animals that swam in the waters now moved onto the land. 20 Fire was able to burn on the open water, while water forgot that it was supposed to put fire out. 21 Flames no longer burned the exposed flesh of living beings, who were able to walk through the flames. Flames didn’t even melt the frostlike crystals that were a kind of food of everlasting life."

@sstronaut No there are anthropods, insects etc..
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
Is it true that they found leg bones in whales?
Peaceandnamaste · 26-30, F
@JohnnySpot and we also have remnants of a vestigial tail called a tailbone. And some of us still have wisdom teeth.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@JohnnySpot I saw an interesting documentary about whale evolution. Dogs and whales have a common ancestor.

@JimboSaturn well I'll be a monkey's uncle
