I suppose there are lots of conflicting mythologies about each.
But in the way that I envision the two, vampires exhibit more self-control and awareness than werewolves. (I have NOT read the Twilight books, and I am thinking about the older, traditional lore about these creatures.) I see vampires as tragic creatures trying to survive, whereas werewolves are crazed beasts who kill for no reason.
So I would be a vampire.

Neither. I don’t like the taste of blood and I’m used to not having much body hair because of family genetics.

Werewolf all day. It's not as if I've never woke up in a park naked with no memory anyway. Sheeeit.

Vampire. Their victims are often beautiful ladies dressed in sexy nightgowns. Werewolves chase teenagers in the woods.
