What is the best concert you ever went to?

The Greatful Dead in the silver bowl in Vegas a couple times was great. String Cheese Incident *another jam band" in Sedona Az would be another one. Neither bands were music I was really into at the time but their concerts were amazing. Page & Plant when they played Vegas was pretty cool and glad to have seen them.

The first time I saw Madam Butterfly in St. Louis had me fall in love with Opera and went to the Atlanta Opera for many seasons when I lived there. Opera is so much more then a concert though.

For the fun crowd you couldn't beat AC DC.

Saw Bowie a bunch of times. Once even in a small private show (including soundcheck)

For the show, hype and intensity: KISS in Madison Square Garden (NYC) 1977

Coolest crowd and chill show: Santana outdoor grass amphitheater in CT 1977 - Carlos, weed/beer, frisbee, blankets. Pretty sure I can’t beat that.

sars concert in toronto back in the 90s. paid about 12 dollars. saw rush, melissa ethridge, stones and ac/dc. plus many others. all for one low price.

@Thrust honestly , cant remember. but lots of bands. was a long hot day in the sun. 1/2 million people so gave up tryin for the beer tent lol

Don't remember it exactly. Many years ago. There were a group of blind musicians playing instruments. It was awesome.

Hmmmm.. I’ll go with John Mellencamp in 2018 in Bloomington Indiana with maybe 200 people in the audience. It was a fundraiser and unplanned.

@ronisme1 I’ve always wanted to see the Stones but either the tickets sold out too quickly or they were too expensive. I’m a big fan, but I’m not paying $1,000/ticket…

@Adogslife this was expensive for 40+ years ago. Tickets were over 100.00 each. I really dont remember. Trans siberian orchestra cost more more recently as did paul mccartney and phil collins
