What is the best concert you ever went to?

slorollin · 41-45, M
TOOL in Oklahoma city at the Ford Center
Vin53 · M
@slorollin Nice. I saw them with OzFest.
Charlie Daniels Band
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@MarbleMarvel great band
@WowwGirl Yeah and seeing them live was cool. It was very no frills but I liked that. I got fiddle sweat on me!
Thrust · 56-60, M
For the fun crowd you couldn't beat AC DC.

Saw Bowie a bunch of times. Once even in a small private show (including soundcheck)
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Thrust I always wanted to see them
exexec · 61-69, C
Jimmy Buffett. Great fun for us parrotheads.
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@exexec I've heard Jimmy
exexec · 61-69, C
@WowwGirl Watching the crowd was part of the fun.
Bowenw · 61-69, M
@exexec Same for me.
DownTheStreet · 56-60, M
the random bands that used to play in a dive bar we'd go to. always crazy times.
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@DownTheStreet they are not the same at all to my understanding
DownTheStreet · 56-60, M
@WowwGirl lost to time I guess, granted the place I went was notorious
DownTheStreet · 56-60, M
@WowwGirl I DM’d you the history of the dive bar
plasticpants02 · 61-69, M
sars concert in toronto back in the 90s. paid about 12 dollars. saw rush, melissa ethridge, stones and ac/dc. plus many others. all for one low price.
Thrust · 56-60, M
@plasticpants02

Were the Guess Who there?
plasticpants02 · 61-69, M
@Thrust honestly , cant remember. but lots of bands. was a long hot day in the sun. 1/2 million people so gave up tryin for the beer tent lol
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
The who and the stones
Chicago was great too.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@ronisme1 I’ve always wanted to see the Stones but either the tickets sold out too quickly or they were too expensive. I’m a big fan, but I’m not paying $1,000/ticket…
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
@Adogslife this was expensive for 40+ years ago. Tickets were over 100.00 each. I really dont remember. Trans siberian orchestra cost more more recently as did paul mccartney and phil collins
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
@ronisme1 best venue was the greek. Saw chicago. Dan folgleberg were the best.
QCDog2659 · 61-69, M
Beatles were pretty good.
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@QCDog2659 pretty big deal too
QCDog2659 · 61-69, M

@DragonFruit Jeez, that is a winner. 👍🏻
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
Saw van halen in 1992
Adogslife · 61-69, M
For the show, hype and intensity: KISS in Madison Square Garden (NYC) 1977

Coolest crowd and chill show: Santana outdoor grass amphitheater in CT 1977 - Carlos, weed/beer, frisbee, blankets. Pretty sure I can’t beat that.
kodiac · 22-25, M

caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@kodiac oh, yeah. That does sound quite out of the way
The Greatful Dead in the silver bowl in Vegas a couple times was great. String Cheese Incident *another jam band" in Sedona Az would be another one. Neither bands were music I was really into at the time but their concerts were amazing. Page & Plant when they played Vegas was pretty cool and glad to have seen them.

The first time I saw Madam Butterfly in St. Louis had me fall in love with Opera and went to the Atlanta Opera for many seasons when I lived there. Opera is so much more then a concert though.
