Been to raves, clubs and warehouse EDM parties in my 20's and 30's but never been to concerts. contemporary music isn't my thing. I'm not really an outdoor music festival goer either though festivals are these days considered to be like a 'right of passage' for a lot of young people.
I wasn't allowed to go to concerts, my uber religious extremist xtian mother didn't approve of them 🙄 However, when I was in my group home, Dottie West's daughter, Shelly, did a pseudo concert at the local lutheran college's auditorium, we went, and my mother got pissed about it.
