What to get my dad for birthday?

@tiltawhirl Aww I'm sorry about your dad🌷 did he have chemo? Yes time is the most important rn. I'm staying nearly all day each time I visit. And I'm getting him his favorite sandwich tomorrow

@Coralmist no he didn’t do chemo because by the time he found out what was going on with him he was practically already dying. I’m happy you are getting to spend time with your dad and I wish I could give you a big hug and I know it’s so hard.

@tiltawhirl That's essentially my dad's experience, he's getting too ill to endure treatment. This sucks😟 I wish they gave him even six months, that would be a lifetime to me now!! But we probably have weeks....I'm going to spend every minute as If it were a year with him. Thank you 🌸

@SwampFlower Quality time with loved ones and a favorite food is perfect...I'm glad you enjoyed those Swamp♥ The thing with food is , we've brought in many snacks and treats he loved even a month ago at his nursing home, but he won't eat any of them. He'll eat a few bites of the entree the hospital brings though. One positive thing, he said yes to his favorite eggs, bacon and cheese on biscuit sandwich 🙂 He said he thinks he'll eat it and he seemed happy when I offered it. I'll Def get him that! I wish there were some other gift too but Ill at least I can get that ..ty Swamp💛

@zonavar68 Unfortunately he's been bed bound for two years prior to the cancer diagnosis..so he has not had any hobbies recently. He loved plants his whole life too ... He was a landscaper. I could get him some flowers or a plant perhaps
