Europeans are amazed by American abundance.

What a shock. They've been starving under socalism all their lives. They're piss ant socalist governments can't fund Ukraine either. Capitalism is where welth comes from. Socialism makes nations sick.

News to me that I'm starving and in a socialist Country.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Oh wait, what's this? https://www.christianpost.com/news/british-pastor-facing-prison-for-displaying-bible-verse.html
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@Munumbis No. They (and you) are wrong. It was not the Bible verse that was breaking the law, it was breaking a law designed to protect other people's rights by having a buffer zone around an abortion clinic.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@FreddieUK Kinda tough on the babies, eh
Khenpal1 · M
right ? print more money , creditare means trust and abundance means wealth which is not paid with more debt. Soon treasury papers will have 7% interest rate , its like a snake biting its own tail .
Convivial · 26-30, F
And that's why you have food stamps, because everyone has it so good?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Convivial I'm willing to buy you a one-way ticket to whatever country you think is better
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Socialist starvation is clearly less deadly than the more familiar capitalist variety 🤣

Capitalism also seems to be where spelling goes to die.
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@SunshineGirl Real capitalism has never been tried.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Munumbis That's a bummer then!
Bruh we have homeless people dying on the streets. Be real.
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@SinlessOnslaught We have junkies killing themselves on the streets. Typically in blue cities because they flock there for the hand outs.
@Munumbis People in need die because people like you label them as junkies who kill themselves.
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@SinlessOnslaught Junkies die because people like you hand them free needles.
Not sure if you noticed, but the mighty Russia hasn't been able to run over poor Ukraine... I'd say they're funding Ukraine just fine...

It's just that they want Russia want to be in a constant war, more than they want Russia to lose and be able to rebuild again.

Also, the American capitalism has funded Ukraine the same way too... and couldn't win in Iran with the Europeans.
@Khenpal1 not sure what that has anything to do with what I said...
Khenpal1 · M
@sstronaut socalist it is 😂
@Khenpal1 if you say so
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
Plenty of Americans living in the UK and Europe would disagree with you. Loads of videos on YouTube telling you the difference between the lies they were brought up with and their lived experience. These are Americans who still love their country, but, like the rest of us, realise just because you were born somewhere doesn't mean it's the best ever and has no faults.
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@FreddieUK I wouldn't even travel to the UK. They arrest people for something they said on Facebook. The UK needs regime change. Putin is breathing down their necks now.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@Munumbis And that's one of the lies they talk about. I would refer you to one of these people, but why let your prejudices be ruffled?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
You spelled greed wrong.
@CrazyMusicLover It's almost like people with some sort of education realize how terrible it is here.
@Munumbis We agree on something.
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@SinlessOnslaught We sure do.
JSul3 · 70-79
Unregulated capitalism has led to the huge wealth gap between the haves and the have nots.
This administration is for sale to the highest bidder.

Nationally, you generally need an annual household income between $198,000 and $387,000 to be in the top 10% of earners, which is the standard baseline for being considered "rich." Earning the top 1% income requires more than $731,490 annually, though "wealthy" is often better measured by a net worth of $2 million to $2.3 million.

Geographic Differences

Where you live dramatically shifts these thresholds due to local costs of living. To be in the top 10% (and considered rich), you need a much higher income in some states:District of Columbia: $635,000Massachusetts: $387,000California: $311,000

Lower Cost States (e.g., West Virginia, Mississippi): $198,000 to $201,000Income vs. Net Worth

Financial advisors and economists emphasize that income dictates your cash flow and lifestyle, while net worth (total assets minus debts) is the true measure of accumulated wealth.Affluent/Top 10% Net Worth: Requires a household net worth of roughly $1.8 million nationwide.

Americans' Definition of Wealth: According to surveys, the average American considers a net worth of $2.3 million to be the minimum threshold for being "wealthy".

@JSul3 Pretty much accurate for USA , in Europe you can do it for 100-150 k less most places.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@JSul3 So you better stick the IRS onto this group of folks and force them to pay their fair share

That’s such a blanket statement though. You can’t speak for all Europeans or all Americans.
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@InterdimensionalSideEye True there are some hard core party comrades happy to starve or even die.
@Munumbis hardcore party members ….who are they?
@InterdimensionalSideEye I'm not sure who they are in Europe, but in the USA they are MAGA members.
