It is produced in western algeria, right here where I live , gluten free , ethically sourced. It is from one of the few farms I go to not worrying about wheat stuff. This chocolate been in the European market for more than 8 years. It got so famous recently due to influencers discovering it and talking about how better it is than Nutella.
EU suddenly released that the suppliers did not get an authorization related to milk products and decided to ban it.
My friends and family could have it over there until influencers , once again, ruined it and of course probably crony capitalism.
@Miram The current EU regulations are possibly a bit excessive, but they were largely driven by a French company illegally using low grade silicon for breast implants.
Here is an interesting fact, some of my people had no clue that lentils and spinach were human foods. We fed them to cattle for decades until the 70s..and spinach until the 2000s lmao.
@Petruk I have a uniqe story about woman power if someone wants to hear about it, but i dont want to post it here publicly coz some poeple might make fun of it. if you want to read it, please send me a message :)
Yes it’s nonsense. Even British chocolate manufactured in the U.K. under the names of EU registered companies are sometimes banned.
It’s the EU placing their workforce over outsiders, it’s annoying but not unexpected. The US does the same then throws its toys out of the cot when you ban their fruit for being pumped full of chemicals.
