EU banned my favorite chocolate 😠😡😠

It is produced in western algeria, right here where I live , gluten free , ethically sourced. It is from one of the few farms I go to not worrying about wheat stuff. And I don't have to worry about labour and child abuse. I feel more confident, besides the fact that their products are delicious, though expensive.

This chocolate been in the European market for more than 8 years. It got so famous recently due to influencers discovering it and talking about how better it is than Nutella.

EU suddenly released that the suppliers did not get an authorization related to milk products and decided to ban it.

My friends and family could have it over there until influencers , once again, ruined it and of course probably crony capitalism.

I've never noticed this in the UK, though I don't eat chocolate spread anyway. Of course, we're not in the EU now, so maybe it will be available.

@Lugwho Yes, maybe because of this ban, the government will export it outside EU.

It is very small company, but all their stuff is well made and less sus than mega companies products.

@Miram I work in approval of medical devices for EU. Its a complicated and expensive business. I'm not really sure about dairy products.

@Lugwho It is always great to have regulations as long as they aren't biased.

I got so much of my medical supplies from Germany and Italy. And farm related supplies too.

@Miram The current EU regulations are possibly a bit excessive, but they were largely driven by a French company illegally using low grade silicon for breast implants.

@Lugwho They did that in Lebanon and Morroco too.

I rather have strict regulations than none at all, as long as they are fair.
