Why are we so upset by words that we have to pretend that they don't exist?

The F-bomb. The C-word. The other one...

The words don’t bother me - the people do. Seems like it’s always some loud mouth trying to get someone to notice him or her. I don’t think they add much to the expressiveness or a statement - just makes it sound cheap.

Some of those words can be quite erotic when used appropriately.

They don't bother me, but there is a time and place to use them!

Because words have meaning. Granted, they only have as much power over us and in our lives as we give them.

The 'taboo' of those words gives them even more weight.
The other one?🤔

We used to chant in the playground that words can never hurt me. Woke generation whine constantly that words hurt, crush and destroy them. "It's only words..yet words are all I have..." Confused?

@Maturebate Wow, okay. So because you used to say it on the playground, that makes it true?

@Thodsis 🤔personally they do not bother me but some are maybe more easily offended by this sort of language
