If you’re still embarrassed to go shopping at the mall with your mom,

There are so many things wrong with this theory disguised as advice...

a. Most people don't shop at the mall anymore.
b. You are assuming that this is a problem for many people.
c. There is not a universal representation of a "real adult," so your premise is flawed from the get-go.

I don't mean to be super-critical for the sake of it. But, there is just so much to unpack here .

I don't have a mom anymore, or dad

Mom is obsessed with online shipping and Amazon.. but she's too lazy to go for shopping store and malls, anyway.
It's not my thing too. I prefer going to the gym! 💪

I live too far to go shopping with her but when I visit her, she is the one I am taking along because she is the one that understands me and my tastes.

Agree its usually a good time. I just dont like malls in general.
