@SW-User I've seen so many cases of a teacher assuming that a student is the same person as their older sibling who they taught years earlier.

@SW-User In high school, I had an odd occurrence where a teacher actually taught me BEFORE he got my older sister because it was an elective class I took a year early and she took it a year late. The teacher himself had a sister who had died of pancreatic cancer, and when he told my sister that he was disappointed in her for acting like her younger sibling, she told him "You're just jealous that my sister is still alive." She got in a lot of trouble but became a fucking icon for it.
