I am not a believer, so beyond the god part I feel you. I tend to blame that feeling on society though. Everyone wants as much money as they can get and there is never a number that is enough - which means there is never enough period. They've got huge data sets compiled to tell them just how much they can extract from people for every little necessity so they can make sure nothing is left at the end of the day. Worse they even now expect some necessities to be paid on credit so they leave people with negative money. The system has been overoptimized to drain as many people as possible completely dry.

Hope you can catch a break, but you definitely aren't alone in these feelings.
