I think it's a sign of the times.
Whereas us older gens use alts to be someone differnt, or spy, or as a diary or whatever, this looks like a case of 'get more views' or attention.
No subterfuge, no sneaky cleverness ....pretty much just more attention .

I had that happen once I had a select screen swipe (oops) then an accidental paste. In my example I continued typing after I hit paste again by mistake it was a series of damn u type screen moments
