Will a woman one day take on a man in a boxing match with a realistic chance of winning?

GeniUs · 56-60, M
There are some amazing female boxers in the world, if I was matched up against one I know I wouldn't survive so I guess it's just a case of finding a fairer fight.
@GeniUs

Right! It's all in who would be matched against who.
DarkXtecy · 36-40, M
I mean if she has more mass then the guy...then yes.

Probably not professionally. But what I find interesting in the videos I've seen of male/female boxing and other martial arts is the fact that the women are always so much smaller than the men they're facing. You don't see, for example, a Leila Ali boxing a male her own size or smaller.
DarkXtecy · 36-40, M
@ChipmunkErnie actually there is a boxing footage on youtube about an all time womens boxing chempion, and she decided to fight an amature men who is just a newbie in the fight sport...i think it was either kickboxing or just boxing...either way, she got knocked out.
Elessar · 26-30, M
There's a lady in my city who's notorious for having sent 4 guys in the hospital all alone (two with broken noses) so maybe we should start from her?
@Elessar

You think like a promoter! Get it done!
Elessar · 26-30, M
@rinkydinkydoink Now just bribe the antidoping guys, because she's more cocaine than human 🥴
smiler2012 · 56-60
@rinkydinkydoinki know these are the time of equal equality but without coming over anti woman as i do not think the odds would very good
@smiler2012

Just a thought: Jake Paul has made a decent living fighting long-retired REAL boxers so who's to say a Billie Jean King vs Bobby Riggs style fight wouldn't work? Take a Top10 female boxer against a similar sized but geriatric, over-the-hill, loudmouth male boxer?
2ndtimeguy · 61-69, M
I have met some women over the years I wouldnt want to get in a fight with!
Thirstymiami · 46-50, M
Is it number 1 vs number 1? Are trans allowed..etc. In reality no
@Thirstymiami

Number 1 vs number 1 may not be reasonable. Who am I kidding - THAT will never happen.
MaryDreamilton · 46-50, F
I don't see why not. There are plenty of women in my neighbourhood who wouldn't be afraid to give it a go.
MaryDreamilton · 46-50, F
@Thirstymiami Maybe. I'm not into boxing either.
@MaryDreamilton

That's the spirit :)
@Thirstymiami

Young female vs OLD (now retired) male boxer. Start the experiment slowly.
@SinlessOnslaught

Iron Mike would probably be flattened. He being close to 60 and in crappy health!
A transwoman might.
@rinkydinkydoink Well, this is why I mentioned transwomen.

During the Riggs-King challenge, what made it a big deal was that it was between a cis man and cis woman.
Today is different. If you have such a challenge now, cisgendered people won’t necessarily be the only ones picking up the gauntlet.

This a part of that change that is the reality now.
@bijouxbroussard

You are set in your beliefs I see. That's fine.
@rinkydinkydoink Apparently, so are you.
The difference is, I’m just just having a conversation, with no commitment either way. This is your topic and you have an agenda to it, so I’ll move on.
pancakeslam · 41-45, M
if she was born a man
@pancakeslam

Good point. I never thought of that.
@ThreeLittleBirds

Tina had one beautiful but scary/purposeful grin!

@Gibbon

If BIG MONEY gets involved there's no telling what other sports could be forever changed.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@rinkydinkydoink it has to change this nonsense is insanity
@Gibbon

If the paying public wants to see - and will pay lots of money to see - an all steroid Olympic-styled athletic competition you can better believe it will happen. I wouldn't mind watching someone run a mile at 100 meter speed!
