@RedFlagElla The part about your first question is, it's rarely ever one way or the other. It just depends on the situation.

I've played guitar as well as clarinet (Angel stadium) for hundreds. Hated doing so, despite the applause. 🤷🏻‍♂

I never liked crowds. Hated the attention of any crowd. I do avoid crowds.

Play for one or just a few, I'm fine.

I most certainly could never be an entertainer of jokes, music or even a Ted talk on computers, for which I hold a degree in, as well as taught. Small class of 15.

A "polymath" is someone that can do many things fairly well. Not everything though.
