Ducky · 31-35, F
I’ve survived a brain tumor and cirrhosis.
Nebula · 41-45, F
@Ducky oh wow, that's impressive
Ducky · 31-35, F
@Nebula Kinda wish I hadn’t, but thanks.
TiFOgsP69 · 46-50, M
@Ducky I'm hearting that because I know how it feels
Coralmist · 41-45, F
I have photographic memory. Although probably many do so maybe that's not that interesting lol. How about you?
Nebula · 41-45, F
@Coralmist Im scared of the dark
ChiefJustWalks · 26-30
@Coralmist hey me too 😌 I only very recently learned that not everyone can see images in their head 😮 makes me wonder what other people see in their head.. or if they see stuff at all
Coralmist · 41-45, F

Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
When it rains I pick up the earthworms off my driveway and put them back in my grass so they don’t get run over
Nebula · 41-45, F
Madmonk · M
@Jenny1234 I do the same
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@Madmonk really? Oh that makes me so happy!
Vin53 · M
I was in a gay relationship from the age of 18 to 26. And I'm heterosexual now.
Nebula · 41-45, F
@Vin53 no interest in men at all?
Vin53 · M
@Nebula No. None. My first relationship was happenstance and love for the person, not the sex.
Vin53 · M
@Nebula I was a child at my first real job. I'd had girlfriends and sex with them but never to my completion.

So maybe I couldn't come with women.

I was 18.
Baaaaaaaa · 26-30, M
I'm struggling to think of something that won't make me look bad 🤔 that tells its own story
Baaaaaaaa · 26-30, M
@greensnacks
That's better 😩 thank you 😘 I'll be here all week
greensnacks · 31-35, F
@Baaaaaaaa ur head is messed up from all the jujitsu
Baaaaaaaa · 26-30, M
@greensnacks
Let me love you ffs 😩 Who cares if it's caused by CTE?
Sapio · 51-55, M
I write adult romance as well as poetry. I also remember number sequences very well.
greensnacks · 31-35, F
I've spoken with over 3000 managers in my career.
greensnacks · 31-35, F
@greensnacks @Baaaaaaaa idk what's funny, it's true. And nothing nasty. A proper career, but I hated it all the way 😂
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
@greensnacks do you train them?
greensnacks · 31-35, F
@TurtlePink no, just had to speak to many of them 😂
Fairydust · F
I once got the giggles on a bus after a night out 🚌 the whole bus ended up laughing. 😆 it was hilarious.
ChiefJustWalks · 26-30
@Fairydust that sounds like an awesome moment 😅
Madmonk · M
@Fairydust means your laughter is contagious. That is truly a gift
I have an unusually good sense of smell
@Nebula yeah I had it once. It made me sick but didn't affect me much otherwise.
Madmonk · M
@MarbleMarvel which do you take note of more the good smells or the bad ones?
@Madmonk it's even I guess. When I'm around people at work is the worst though because I can smell their deodorant and perfume/cologne like they shot it up my nose. Nature and animal smells aren't offensive unless something is off. And here's the weird part I put at the end because most people won't read an entire paragraph... I can smell people's blood on their sensitive parts. Their neck and other areas. Like when we're intimate. It's unique to them. If I lick I can taste 😂

You asked lol
I was once dead for 3 minutes
@Ferric67 I was hit by a car
Ferric67 · M
@pripyatamusementpark I'm sure you experience daily residual pain from that sort of trauma?
What was the extent of your injuries?

I too got hit by a small pick up truck
Totally my fault, I had a few too many beers and thought that I can cross the street without looking
Wrong
I was with a lady friend too, and she sped up to cross the street with me
As the pick up truck approached, I sensed it and jumped up and forward, literally scooping her up like a cat from her upper back (see never saw the truck either since she was focused on keeping up with me). The truck struck my leg propelling towards the sidewalk. I landed standing upright right on to the sidewalk still holding her...she had no clue that I had gotten hit and thrown through the air with her. She immediately starts yelling at me
"What the fuck was that?"
That's when I tell her that I had gotten hit from the side (the point of impact was my lower right leg....she was to my left).
As she's yelling at me, the pick up driver immediately pulls over and frantically starts running up and down the road looking for a downed pedestrian.
This is all happening around 1 am
I see him stop, and I follow his gaze to the sidewalk (which is slightly elevated) find my feet...and then slowly scan upwards....until he sees me completely....and it starts to dawn on him....that I'm the fella he hit...and I'm still standing, looking at him.
Now, he's a little guy, standing in the middle of the road looking up at me as I stood on an elevated sidewalk...and he starts to panic
As in, what's this big guy going to do to me
At that very moment, any anger that I had in me for getting hit completely dissipated due to this little guy's panic over the fact the he was thinking that I was going to physically assault him.
He runs over to me and almost starts begging.

I feel bad for him, and I assure him it's forgiven

Too this day, my right leg is not quite right....but I work it to keep it strong and functioning

If you met me, you'd never know that I was hit as a pedestrian by a pick up truck.

Had I not jumped, who knows how bad I would have been injured

It's my fault, I blame myself for recklessly wandering into the road
@Ferric67 I don't remember anything about the accident ...I only know what I was told ...which was I was crossing the street to get to work and I was it and was thrown up in the air and my head went through the person's windshield...it's on cctv footage too

I was in a coma for three days ... sustained swelling in my brain and major head trauma ...fractured skull. .I was told if the fracture was just an inch deeper I'd suffer constant dizziness and gave to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. . Luckily that wasn't the case

Fractured sacrum ..
It was very painful .

I have chronic sciatic nerve pain ...vertigo once in a while and migraine every so often. . .went through major depression after ...honestly I'm pretty lucky .. took me a long time to fully heal ..couldn't be left alone because of frequent bouts of vertigo ...needed lots of different types of therapy...had to learn to walk again ...I'm stubborn af i wasn't going to let it stop me
TurtlePink · 22-25, F

MoveAlong · 70-79, M
I have a rare condition called synesthesia. I see colors when I hear sounds. Not surprisingly it's more evident when listening to music or perhaps during a thunderstorm. To me it seems perfectly normal and is not distracting since I was born with it. ,
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@MoveAlong I thought my mother was the only one that didn’t have it. I didn’t realize it was something that most people don’t have. I remember talking to my friends in high school about it and they thought it was crazy
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@Jenny1234 I grew up in rural Tennessee where we only had a country doctor who ran a small clinic. When I was about 7-8 years old I had to go get a couple of stitches. My mom told the Dr about what I was experiencing. He didn't know what it might be but a few days later he called my mom and said he talked to another (younger) Dr he knew and told her I might have synesthesia. Mom researched it through the library and decided since it wasn't causing any problem to just leave it be. So, I rarely think about it. It's just part of who I am. Everything I experience is normal to me.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@MoveAlong yeah it just becomes a normal thing for you.
I rarely think about it unless people bring it up like your message or your post
Madmonk · M
@Tumbleweed I’m stealing this one
Tumbleweed · F

fun4us2b · M
@Nebula LOL - thanks!
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M

I have been shot stabbed hit by a car almost drowned by the entire Pacific Ocean and had the deadliest heart attack known to man which only three percent of individuals usually survive I am still here. I have lived on both sides of the tracks very rough and very decadent I have a vast array of intelligence and hobby interests I am as complex as a Rubik's cube but it's simple as a mirror to understand and figure out if only one is perceptive enough to see who I am inside and who I have always been. Only someone genuine and steadfast could ever walk a mile in my journey
HumanEarth · F
I can fix or build any vehicle I want and I can build it from scrap
Vin53 · M
Nebula · 41-45, F
